Trevor Lunsford is a Director at Union Square Advisors, where he advises software companies and their investors on platform investments, add-on acquisitions, and exits. He focuses on vertical and application software, with deep coverage of GovTech and Public Safety technology.

Over more than nine years in technology investment banking, Trevor has contributed to over $5 billion in closed transactions and earned recognition as one of The M&A Advisor's “Emerging Leaders.” He has worked alongside top-tier investors including Insight Partners on transactions with CivicPlus, Optimizely, Diligent, and Bullhorn.
Previously, Trevor was a Director and Vice President at Ascend Capital Group, and earlier held roles at District Capital Partners and Cumulus Media. He holds a Master's in Finance and a BBA in Finance from Georgia State University, where he captained the “Panthers on Wall Street” program and later returned to teach, recruit, and mentor.
